Why should I use a personal trainer? 

Personal trainers not only provide knowledge and expertise, but also motivation and accountability.  Even professional athletes utilize the services of personal trainers to help them achieve their fitness and performance goals.  As an experienced trainer, I can show people who have been working out for years new exercises and ways to move beyond any plateaus they may have reached.   

I have not worked out in a long time and I'm concerned about getting back into it.

Your personalized workout program will take into account where you are at in terms of your current fitness level and abilities.  You will not be asked to perform beyond your abilities or engage in any exercise that you are not comfortable with.  Every persons program I set up is fully customized considering you the individual.  There are no cookie cutter programs. 

I have a previous injury that affects my ability to workout.

Any injuries or conditions that may affect your workouts will be taken into account when creating your personalized workout program.  Your program will be catered around any pre-existing conditions that you may have.  I have worked with numerous individuals that have injuries and/or physical limitations.  I will instruct you as to which exercises and movements are appropriate, and which way to do them. 

I am a senior, would personal training still be good for me? 

Absolutely!  Personal training is great for people of all ages because it improves your bodies ability to function in a resting state.  Engaging in regular physical activity makes normal daily tasks easier to perform and improves overall quality of life.  There are so many benefits to working out it is impossible to state them all here.  Improved bone density, a better state of mind, higher metabolism, and longer life span, are just a few reasons why it is so fantastic to work out on a regular basis.   

I am engaged in a specific sport or activity.  Can personal training improve my performance? 

Definitely.  Your program will utilize specific activities that will ultimately improve your performance whether it be for a competitive sport or simply recreational activities.  If you are a bride or groom-to-be I can also create a custom designed program to help you reach your goals by your special day.  Each program is designed with the appropriate level of weight lifting, plyometrics, and cardio, that is best suited to help you acheive your specific goals.
